Tune in
GRAND OPENING IN TRIEBEN
What does Trieben sound like? To tune in to regionale10, the entire town will resound: architectural landmarks will become musical instruments when a factory chimney and a community centre, a church tower, a maypole and fountain break their silence and compete with choirs, soloists and brass orchestras.

Exploring boundaries
The trail around the district of Liezen is 400 kilometres long, climbing a total of 40,000 m. The inhabitants of the 30 communities along the fringe are not in the lest daunted by these dimensions: They push to their limits - in the truest meaning of the word - and set off on an unusual tour over hill and dale, across mountain pastures, forest trails and over ragged rock faces.

Going International
Being foreign is not always easy. Tourists are perceived in a different way than immigrants. Some are seen as guests, some as intruders. Being foreign always also means gaining new experiences. New experiences connect the traveller with the host.

Hoher Dachstein

DID YOU SEE ANYTHING - LAST TIME ON THE HOHER DACHSTEIN? Those who climb up the Hoher Dachstein from July 11th will have the usual view, tons of stones. Stratified limestone, rough and loose rocks.

Play Admont
PLAYFUL APPROACH TO INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ART
Books help explain the world. Art can do this too in its own unique way. However, the regionale10exhibition at Admont Monastery with its fine museum and wonderful library is not only about books and art. More than this is needed if we want to gain knowledge, and it all focuses on the human ability of reflection.

Fabricators of the world - Scenarios of self-will
What makes the region between Aussee and Trieben, between Schladming and Wildalpen unique? The exhibition in Schloss Trautenfels explores the scenarios of defiance and caprice, of singularity and peculiarity of the people living in this area and tries to find out to what extent their inner and outer scenarios coincide.

Learning from Liezen
A TOWN REBUS BY AND WITH HANS PETER LITSCHER
Some people will certainly remember what it was like when Bruno Kreisky and Yasser Arafat met incognito at the Karow Hotel. That must have been around the end of the nineteen-seventies. One person certainly remembers precisely: Swiss town rebus creator, tracer of the past, collector of echoes and art imp Hans Peter Litscher.

Talk to him!
A FOLKLORE EVENING
What does the emotional map of a district as big and multi-faceted as Liezen look like? Do Liezen and Aussee have a thing going on? Who owns the Dachstein? The "Theater im Bahnhof" (TiB) theatre group from Graz visits the district, asks questions, observes, notes and records.

s‘Nullerl or A ganze Welt für sich
ROMANTIC COMEDY ACCORDING TO CARL MORRÉ
The play is more than one hundred years old and is still very popular, even though the topic seems to be completely outdated: Today we no longer have any penniless lodgers without an old age pension depending on the benevolence of a rich farmer.

Simply gone
A THEATRE PROJECT OF NATAŠA RAJKOVIĆ & BOBO JELČIĆ
Experience is sometimes the best material. Also on stage. The renowned director duo Nataša Rajković and Bobo Jelčić display passion for theatre beyond its classic form. Their plays are often created without any script or context, simply based on the experience of the actors.

FESTIVAL OF 20th CENTURY CLASSICAL MUSIC ST. GALLEN/GESÄUSE
A festival reinvents itself; tradition merges with innovation - and regionale10 forms the backdrop for it all. The region around St.Gallen/Gesäuse is now focusing on new music. Quite a courageous venture far off the metropolitan centres, but also a commitment to the innovative power of a region where tradition and presence philander spectacularly with each other.

Sprudel, Sprudel & Musik
A walk-in concert? A musical journey on foot? It is actually not easy to pigeonhole this event. And that is exactly what the inventors intended. They turn the landscape around Toplitzsee Lake into the venue for a musical event and give curtain calls to Nature as the origin of art. After all, Nature sends messages and artists transmit them.

Baustelle Baukultur – Building Site Architecture
With the Wallig printing plant in Gröbming built in 1936, Herbert Eichholzer left behind a masterpiece that has scarcely attracted any of the notice it deserves, and this despite the fact that the architect - a son of the region - is one of the most important Austrian architects of the 20th century.

Land in Sicht – Countrysight
SIXFOLD ENCOURAGEMENT ON THE STATE OF THE REGION
Sixfold encouragement on the state of the region. "From my village I see what there is to be seen in the world" - is more or less what Fernando Pessoa said. Looking at the countryside, looking out from the countryside: What is typical of life beyond urban centres today?

"Happiness is where I am not"
The vague but pressing suspicion that one should actually be somewhere else, the unquenchable desire to leave: Many adolescents express this as their general mood, they experience a presumed lack of freedom to move to be suffocating. What vehicle is needed to undo this impression?

Stick Climbing
A ROCKFACE, A CLIMBING ROUTE, AN INSTALLATION, A FILM
It was only a few years ago that the Gössler face at Lake Grundlsee was climbed for the first time. Now a route through the rock has been made visible with wooden slats. A film is being made there dealing with trend sports, performance, achievement and endurance, weight and gravity, concentration and fear and making these issues the starting point of a poetic reflection about us being.

Mountains in flames
No wonder fire was worshipped in pre-historic times as a living entity. Its magic is not lost on modern man either. The "Mountains in Flames" summer event is the best example. This year, the annual event that immerses the lake and mountains around Altaussee in Bengal fireworks marks the closing of regionale10.

Living Liezen Legends
A MEDIA PROJECT
Folk tales and urban legends have one thing in common: the grain of truth they are said to contain. Urban legends, however, do not tell of dwarfs and carbuncle stones, but of spiders in the yucca. And they rather tour the towns. But this does not need to be that way.
